This 3.5 hour workshop, run by Mora McGovern (FT instructor) and Marita Moran (yoga instructor) will cover:
- Common injuries/pains in our yoga clients
- Understanding the anatomy of these injuries/pains and how certain aspects of yoga could be exacerbating them
- The principles of Foundation Training - decompression, hip movement, shoulder movement - and their importance for joint safety and pain management
- Applying the principles of Foundation Training to yoga poses - focus on the sun salutation
